POPCOX had been a regular resident here at Egg since her debut in our main room in 2008. Since then she’s been smashing it and we love her energy, wild outfits, attitude and rocking music. Pops puts the effort in on the promo front and always brings some of her party starters to support. Go Pops!

POPCOX has DJed at Pacha, Egg, Cargo, Aquarium, Club Colosseum, Lightbox, East Village, Apothecary, Hidden, The White House, Hoxton Pony, Proud Galleries, Dalston Superstore, Russian Bar, Varda (Jersey), Helsinki (Leicester), Bar Mango (Reading) to name but a few.

POPCOX is the latest, perhaps wildest DJ incarnation of a professional club DJ and music producer. Beginning in smokey home counties pub back in the late 90’s progressing through a successful string of solo guest sets and residencies in the West Midlands, then a national and international DJ career as a DJ due act based in London.

Moving to London was to sacrifice to pretty much start over in the most competitive city in the world for DJing. Having gained a foothold with various rocking guest sets at various quality clubs, warehouse parties and hedonistic after-parties, began a DJ and production duo project critically acclaimed in Mixmag as Future Hero’s and in various features in DJ Magazine. With a raft of guest sets in London, across the UK and internationally as well as more than 30 releases, although the latest guise is a new one, POPCOX has pedigree credentials in her DJ history.

After musical differences and subsequent split, POPCOX was born out of a half joke comment in a pub conversation with a prolific London promoter who booked what then became the POPCOX act to headline 3 gigs at Pacha, Egg, and The White House. The stage was set, the fuse lit, and that is how it all began.
