BBM Me is the newest weekly party dedicated to bringing the fun and a dash of glamour back to the weekend – showcasing the best of all genres of house music every Saturday night to create the best house party you’ve ever been to.
Presenting an electrifyingly ultra flamboyant party experience, this week we present drag DJ supremo POPCOX. This trannie disc jockey dance floor empress is on a cross-dressing DJ mission of entertain…ment, a musical awakening of glittering charisma. Sitting like a glace cherry atop a tranny DJ Bakewell tart of fantastic music.
An utterly dragfabulous re-incarnation of a ‘more traditional’ club DJ act into a lipstick muse, disc jockey, social butterfly and style paradox. Music producer, dress up doll and purveyor of quirk, POPCOX is nearly as infamous for his quirky gender bending outfits as he is for his DJing.
POPCOX offers something unique; energetic, charismatic and creative with wide appeal to a variety of scenes and communities from clubbers to gays, straights, the trans and fetish communities, straights weirdoes and even those normal people who may cross his path.
The vivacious, electric, outrageous transvestite Queen of the decks is a pro DJ with 15 years experience ‘pre-stilettos’. A raft of London, UK and international gigs in the past, the POPCOX project, born in May 2008, has seen this alternative drag DJ act catalyze event success with her technical ability, stunning outfits and wide range of music.
No female impersonator has pushed drag DJing since Jon Pleased Wimmin. POPCOX will set your world on fire whatever the event.
