A favourite event I frequent (ooh that rhymes!), run by some favourite friends Big Daddy and Chico, they have finally decided to pull their finger out their proverbials and put their gig on the map by having POPCOX the infamous turn up and work her dance floor magic! Another night of gaiety and dancing with an emphasis on ‘not so much of the house music please’ The Star is as renowned for being a lovely pub with great nights as Chicos is renowned for good music, camp dancing, singing and the devouring of alcohol. Not to be missed. Here’s what they say;

Here at the NIGHT OF 1000 CHICOS, we don’t choose our heroes because of their worldwide reach, their celebrity, or because they did a nice tune about a dead rat ... NO! We love people purely for their hair - and let’s face it, if it’s a competition about who gets the RIP at the next Chicos, it’s going to be Farrah! Amazing hair, we bet she can moonwalk ever better than that other guy, plus she got to see the Six Million Dollar Man naked! Reader, she even married him!

And I bet she didn’t have to bribe him with a ride on Neverland rides first, either.

Doing her best Farrah impersonation, well, sporting blonde hair at the very least, special guest DJ POPCOX will be joining us with her handbag jammed full of tracks to delight.
