Our re-work of a track made a couple of years ago

The second of the ten or so Logic projects I dug out of an old hard drive, this was originally the very first track I started on my own years ago when I was learning how to use logic. I remember re-visiting it and giving it an electro bass line and now, here in 2011 with the help of a pro studio with all its bells and whistles and fab engineer, I’ve brought it to life as a rolling houser.

Its called ‘Toad Kill’ becuase there was a sound glitch in the project that sounded like someone standing on a toad! i left it in but sadly the glitch didn’t make it through the bounced final version.

Here’s my latest track for you to enjoy, it’s a track I made back in 2007 and found on an old hard-drive. After a session in the studio with Timo Garcia on engineering its been spit and polished into quite a house belter! I set a competition to give it a title when I first uploaded it. You can have a look at some of the weird and wonderful name suggestions in my facebook fanpage (you have to scroll down my wall a bit). Thanks to everyone who got involved and of course to the winner Liz Cirelli for her winning suggestion ‘Mignight Sleaze’ - a pint of cold lager andf a pat on the back to you when I next see you Liz!

I started a re-work of Let The Music Play by Shannon back in 2007 and made a rough arrange on an old computer. I managed to salvage the project (along with about 10 others, watch this space) and, thanks to the excellent facilities, skills and engineering help of disco buddy Timo Garcia have it into my latest track. Just needs some vocal magic now I reckon :o)

Inspired by Chromeo, Prince and Flight of the Conchords, this is a tongue in cheek love song for my beloved chocolate loving darling, awwww.

Glitchy dark bassy roller to make you frug out and pout.

As the title suggests, Cosmic Flowers is a bit deeper and dreamier than most of my tracks.

The first in a series of my new tracks, Stereotype Me is a merry jaunt of nu-disco born out of thousands of smiles dancing and laughter with close friends and new love - f*ck I sound like a hippy sometimes :os

A track inspired by one of my favourite disco tracks, Cerrone Supernature created with super talented Nuvo Rich in his studio, and named after a beautiful friend. Jade is like a summer shower of disco synths over a floor filling nu-disco bass line.

Inspired by the massive nu-disco revival a host of favourite classic pop tracks and the 80’s cartoon ‘Jem’ this track is a bright and eclectic and sounds like it could be the soundtrack to something. Think Miami, think convertible with the roof down, think sunshine, love, synths and pop-socks!
