Inspired by a sunshine party on the terrace at Dex in South London hosted by the excellent Get Diverted bunch on Easter Sunday. It was a belting hot day and a certain someone was (allegedly) dressed as an Easter Bunny. Awesome freindly faces, a rare day of blazing sunshine and some great disco, house and techno to boot. That’s how parties are supposed to be, and this mix is my tribute to those that made it golden

Part two of the ‘Dirty Girl’ Valentines Mix is a continuation of fairly pumping house, electro and techno vibe. Like part 1 it is a fairly close set list copy to the 5 hour set I played at the last Club Pedestal. It features a host of my favourite tracks, some utter filth-bag grinders and generally a clutch of tracks I ‘don’t end up putting in a mix very often’. Enjoy :o)

Dirty Dirty Girl is an upbeat, no-nonsense house mix inspired and largely a copy of the set I played at the last Club Pedestal. A step away from the current Nu-disco sound de jour of London, I’ve taken some of my favourite house, electro and techno belters old and new for this having it mix. Part 1 and part two run as a consecutive set and I recorded them as such so feel free to listen to them consecutively.

Classic old school house & house with a discofunk edge lead into rolling house and tech-house with an eclectic climax :o)

My first mix since moving back to East London, this is another nu-disco mix with electronic & electro overtones. A winter sunshine mix to get the blood pumping and the feet moving to keep you warm!

Lunging in her fluro pop socks, she’s flexed her nu-disco skills again; a slick rolling good time mix featuring the massive hit Coma Cat* by a favourite producer Tensnake, slip into to some lycra, pop your headband on and get ready to throw shapes.

A laid back but merry jaunt of nu-disco, deep disco vibes that starts with a young lady having a rather fun time to herself by the sounds of it - ooh, I say! The idea and playlist for this mix actually came to me around 18 months ago but I’ve only just got round to mixing it now I’ve got my fabby new Vestax VCI 300!

It may have rained constantly this summer but no amount of rain will ever dilute my love of cake! Lets celebrate by giving my latest mix a daft title and doing a house music-fueled rain dance in the warm comfort of our living rooms :o)

Just Enjoy Yourself continues on Friday 14th August with very very special guest Jon Pleased Wimmin. For those of you too young to remember, Jon Pleased was one of the top 20 DJs and a respected pillar of debauchery throughout the 90’s house scene, his record ‘Passion’ sold 12,000 copies back in 1993 and he had a host of other top 30 hits - oh yeh, and he used to doll up in drag - what a freak ;oP

Not only is Jon making a super exclusive trip down to London to play for his lipstick chum POPCOX but he’s even promised to dust off his best wig and give us an even rarer feast for the eyes dragging up to the nines - what better a captain of the good ship ‘Enjoy Yourself’ than the one and only Jon Pleased Wimmin!?

The purpose of the POPCOX project is to get back to basics playing awesome music to punters who haven’t forgotten how to have a damn good party. The MiMo! punters are simply something else and I had an absolute ball smashing out some no-nonsense stomping electro belters for their aural pleasure. The residents are also awesome and their fearsome reputation for being party animals was well founded! Sam, Andy, Chris, Mantej you and all your crew rock!

This mix contains a couple of the belters from the night and I’ve recorded it especially as a thank you to MiMo! punters. Thanks for having me down, I hope to be back very soon xx

I’m off to the Miami Winter Music Conference – WOOOOOO!!!!

Created especially for Miami WMC 2009, this is a building poolside set that goes takes you on a journey from nu-disco style house to deep instrumental techy rolling house. Programmed and mixed back to back alongside cohort Van Alen, we’ve aimed to create something deep but driving that makes you tap your foot and frug out to. Enjoy!

I recorded the live guest mix I played on Tania Von Pear’s Ministry Of Sound radio show. It features a couple of tracks from other mixes posted up here because it’s a short 30 minute snapshot mix of those tunes I’ve been rocking dance floors with over the last few months. It also contains a couple of new collaborations too though!

Taking tougher electro and crossover electro techno tracks, this is more of a club mix quickly building into some main set techtro madness to make you stamp your feet and jump around. A much noisier concoction than the other two mixes.  This mix aired on House FM on the Simon Francis show in July

Using more funky influences and several tracks with vocals. Muchbelty is a fusion of funky house and electro with nu-disco overtones, this mix is for girls and gays and everyone not scared to admit they like it funky!  This mix aired on House FM on the Simon Francis show in June

Mixed back in May to celebrate the opening parties of the Ibiza season 2008 and the launch of POPCOX, this mix has a Balearic feel to it with sprinklings of nu-disco and atmospheric electro with the occasional nasty dance floor belter to keep you on your feet. It’s also a reflection of POPCOX favourite styles of music blended together. One for the fans and for the promoters, it’s not the gloves-off peak time main set sound of POPCOX but it is a great mix of fantastic music for your aural pleasure.

Why So Serious? Indeed! A carbon copy (from what I can remember) of the set I played on Friday night at the excellent Why So Serious? night at the Russian Bar. A bangers and mash mixup of music genres from funk, swing and disco to house, dub step and d’n'b! Much fun was had by all!
